Health Heralds (previously Donate Essentials) was founded in Cupertino, California, during the pandemic to provide essential items to those in need and spread positivity.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we focused on donating masks and cards to frontline workers. Now, we have a podcast on Spotify called Essential Talk by Donate Essentials, and we have launched our blog, Our Journey to Health Literacy.
In our Arts Program, we make cards for frontline workers and patients in collaboration with our hospital partners. Our Fundraising Program focuses on fundraising to help fund our different programs.

Chapter’s Map
Enhancing access to clear and actionable health information: Will accomplish this by developing and distributing health safety information through various languages and diverse media info sources, such as print, visual aids, and digital platforms.
Donate health care necessities: We have consistently organized events and fundraisers that have helped people within our own communities obtain access to basic essentials such as period products and masks, especially during COVID.
Fostering effective communication and shared decision-making: We conduct interactive podcasts revolving around discussing health related issues and provide resources to healthcare professionals on health literacy best practices
